OIF/OEF Service Members , Have You Heard? Our returning OEF/OIF service members have a newly enhanced VA Web site just for them. Launched the week of the Presidential inauguration at www.oefoif.va.gov, the returning service member’s site offers tailored information on VA services and programs, as well as Internet-savvy video features, stories… even a blog. Dept. Officers Fund Raiser Tickets Available!!
The 13th District have two members in the Dept. line. In June 2013 our own Ed Ford will be the Dept. Commander and Shirley Calvert will be our Dept. President. We are responsible for the cost of their Dept. Officer’s Reception. This could cost between $10,000—$13,000 dollars.
At our November 20th Meeting in Turlock each Post, Auxiliary and Men’s Auxiliary were given 100 tickets for a chance to win a 46 inch Flat Screen, HD TV with a 2 year Service Warranty. Donation is $1.00 per ticket and they are in a book of 5 tickets.
The drawing will be held at our May 20, 2012 District Meeting in Stockton.
Checks should be made payable to: 13th District Treasurer and sent to Sue Wells, Treasurer 1159 Second St., Livingston, CA 95334. Be sure to also send her the stubs!!
